Q. Who are you guys?
A. We are musicians and fans building a nonprofit organization to support
local music and help foster a greater sense of community in the Minnesota
music scene.
Q. Haven't I heard of you before?
A. Maybe. We originally launched in 2004 but have been inactive for a couple
of years.
Q. Does it cost anything to have my music played on Misplaced Music Radio?
A. No. We stream local music at no charge to artists or listeners.
Q. How do I get my music on Misplaced Music Radio?
A. You can send us your music for airplay consideration. Submissions can be
sent to:
Misplaced Music, 2537 Polk St NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418.
Q. What format (wav, mp3, etc.) should my submission be in?
A. For the best quality please send us uncompressed WAV files. Using MP3
files results in double compression and reduced quality in the radio stream.
Q. Are you a real nonprofit or do you just call yourself one?
A. Yes, we are an official 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
Q. Where do you get your money to operate?
A. We receive funds through donations, grants and program sponsorship.
